Contemporary Arts, according to Wikipedia, it is the art of today, produced in the late 20th century or in the 21st century. Though seemingly simple, the details surrounding this definition are often a bit fuzzy, as different individuals' interpretations of “today” may widely and wildly vary.

So basically, in a contemporary art, the audience or the interpreter is the beholder of the significance rather than the artist of the art itself. So contemporary art is free and wide for interpretations for different people exposed in different cultures, ways, and traditions. It varies. Contemporary arts can be also done in different media and technique depending on the contemporary artist's choice, media or medium is the material used by an artist, composer or designer to create a work of art, while technique refers on how the artist manipulate or control his desired medium.
In our activity, we were tasked to make our own contemporary arts incorporating the story of creation that was assigned to us. We were also encouraged and had the freedom of choosing the medium and technique that we desire to use. With the art and the title of the art is given, you are encouraged to share on what are your interpretations on the artworks in the comments below. It can be in any other forms of criticisms you prefer, it's contemporary arts after all.
